Cybersecurity is to protect computer systems networks, digital devices, and the IoT from cyberattacks. The courses in this program provide students with the breadth and depth of knowledge, and hands-on practice in cybersecurity. Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management at Highline College is a structured, affordable two- year program where you will learn the principles of business operations and the important skill of motivating and leading others to achieve productivity. You will receive a strong foundation in business and management fundamentals. Elective credits make it possible to specialize in logistics and supply chain management, or accounting. Enough higher-level accounting credits can be earned to qualify for the CPA Exam.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Respiratory Care

The Respiratory Care profession has changed in scope of practice over the years. There is need for more complex clinical skills and knowledge in not only the hospital but other care sites. Stronger critical thinking skills, better communication, technical writing, management and education knowledge are now needed for a better prepared Respiratory Therapist. A bachelor level program allows for emphasis in those areas along with advanced level courses in critical care, pediatrics, disease management and critical thinking development. The addition of advanced clinical experiences provides students with a strong advantage starting out in their career.

The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree is career-focused, providing practical skills for specific career paths. It is often offered at community colleges to students with associate degrees.

A traditional Bachelor of Science (BS) degree takes four years to complete and emphasizes general education requirements, applied knowledge, and critical thinking skills.
