Watermark: Student Success and Engagement
Students can connect with their advisors, instructors, and other services such as financial aid, through a tool called Watermark Student Success and Engagement (previosuly known as Aviso).
Students can use Watermark to do the following:
- Schedule appointments for advising, tutoring, and some other support services.
- Talk to advisors about degree and class planning.
- Request follow-up support from campus services.
How-to Guides for Students
Advisors will set up times for you to meet with them to discuss your academic plans and goals. We encourage you to schedule time to meet with them. To schedule a meeting:
- Log into Watermark.
- Find Success Team module on your homepage.
- Select Schedule Meeting listed under your advisor on your dashboard.
- Choose Faculty Advising from the Service dropdown menu.
- You do not need to choose anything for Campus or Location.
- If you have a preference for an In-Person or Online meeting, select that under How do you want to meet?
- Click the Find a tIme button to view meeting times.
- Hover mouse over appointments to view Ways to Meet.
- If you did not choose How do you want to meet? earlier a way to meet earlier, it will display both in-person or Online options.
- Review the meeting details and click Confirm to schedule the appointment.
- You can add a note in the Would you like to share anything else?
- Confirm your meeting.
- You will see a confirmation of your meeting.
- Click Back to Home to return to the Watermark homepage.
- Your scheduled meetings will be displayed under Upcoming Meetings.
- In the Review Meeting, a Zoom link for an Online Meeting or Campus Location will display.
- Cancel Meeting button is available if you need to cancel the meeting.
- A list of available appointments will be displayed.
- To see whether you can schedule online, in-person, or both, hover the mouse over an appointment time and a message will pop up with available options for that time.
- Log into Watermark.
- Upcoming Meetings module on your dashboard.
- Click on Schedule a Meeting button
- Choose type of meeting from the Service* dropdown
- For example, Faculty Advising or General Financial Aid Questions
- You do not need to choose anything for Campus or Location.
- If you prefer an In-Person or Online meeting, select that under How do you want to meet?
- Click the Find a tIme button to view meeting times.
- Hover mouse over appointments to view Ways to Meet.
- If you did not choose How do you want to meet? earlier a way to meet earlier, it will display both in-person or Online options.
- If you did not choose a way to meet earlier and your chosen time has both In-Person and Online options, you will be asked to choose how you would like to meet.
- Review the meeting details and click Confirm to schedule the appointment.
- You can add a note in the Would you like to share anything else?
- Confirm your meeting.
- You will see a confirmation of your meeting.
- Click Back to Home to return to the Watermark homepage.
- Your scheduled meetings will be displayed under Upcoming Meetings.
- In the Review Meeting, a Zoom link for an Online Meeting or Campus Location will display.
- Cancel Meeting button is available if you need to cancel the meeting.
- Log into Watermark.
- Find the Upcoming Meetings module on your homepage
- Click on the Meeting Day and Time.
- In the Review Meeting, click on the Online Link to connect to the online meeting in Zoom.
- If the meeting was scheduled for In-Person, there will be an on-campus location instead.
- You can also click the Cancel Meeting button if needed.
- The meeting link will also be in the invite that was sent to your Highline student email.

- Log into Watermark.
- Find the Upcoming Meetings module on your homepage
- Click on the scheduled date and time for the meeting.
- Click on the Cancel Meeting button.
- When the Cancel Meeting option appears, click It.
- You’ll receive a confirmation that the meeting has been canceled.
