Tuition Payment

Tuition payment is due each quarter and quarterly tuition deadlines are posted in the Dates & Deadlines. To avoid being dropped for non-payment, please make payment before the deadline. 

Ways to Pay Tuition and Fees

  1. Pay in Person

    Pay in person at the Cashier’s office on the first floor of Building 6. (Note: Cashiers only accept cash or checks for tuition payments.)

  2. Pay Online

    Pay tuition and fees online with a Credit/Debit, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover are all accepted through your ctcLink account. ctcLink is the student online system, and you must be an enrolled student in order to access the student portal. Use your ctcLink ID and login password to access your account. 

    Pay Tuition in ctcLink

    • Access your ctcLink account in a browser or on your mobile device.
    • Select the ctcLink Login tile.
    • From the menu on left, select Full Site at the bottom.
    • From the ctcLink Gateway webpage, select Student Homepage on the left menu.
    • From the Tile Screen, select the Financial Account tile.
    • Next on the upper left menu, select Payments to open the drop-down menu.
    • Select the Make a Payment option.
    • Next, enter your payment information and click Submit.
  3. Pay by Check

    If you would like to pay with a check or money order, please make the check out to Highline College, and include your ctcLink number. Visit the cashier window in building 6, lower level or mail to address below.

    Scholarship check - Drop off the scholarship check at the cashier window in building 6, lower level, and make sure the check is presented to the cashier window before the tuition deadline. (It must be payable to Highline College).

  4. Tuition Payment Plan

    Tuition payment plans are available each quarter with a choice of installments. See the payment quarters below to view installment options.

    How to sign up for Payment Plan

    Sign up through your ctcLink account. Remember to click the Nelnet button in ctcLink, not the payment plan button.

    • Log into ctcLink with your ctcLink ID and Password.
    • Click on Financial Account.
    • Click on Nelnet Payment Plan.
    • Click on Nelnet Button.
    • Click on Setup Payments with Nelnet.

Tuition Payment Responsibility 

If you drop/withdraw after the 100% refund period and have not paid your tuition, you are responsible for paying 60% of the class(es) dropped during the 40% refund period. After the 40% refund period, if you drop/withdraw and have not paid tuition you are responsible for paying 100% of the class(es) dropped. Fall 2025 Payment Plan available on July 7, 2025. Tuition Due Date is September 8, 2025.*

*You must sign up for the payment plan by tuition due date to avoid being dropped from your classes for non-payment.

Tuition Payment Plan Information

Students who sign up for the Nelnet Payment Plan will automatically get a positive service indicator on their ctcLink account that will hold them in their classes so Registration will not drop you. “Your classes are being held because you signed up for the Payment Plan.”

If you've already signed up for the payment plan and just added a new classs, this will be automatically updated in your Nelnet account.

Refunds will be applied to the final payment due date, if you've signed up for the payment plan and drop a class in the 100% or 40% refund period.

Automatic bank payment (ACH), Credit/Debit card-MasterCard, Visa, and Discover are all acceptable methods of payment.

The payment plan charges a $30.00 non-refundable enrollment fee every quarter and a $30.00 returned payment fee each time a regularly scheduled payment is returned.
