Updating Your Student Record Information

Students may access and update their student records in ctcLink Student Portal. Find out how to activate your ctcLink. Your ctcLink account is separate from your myHighline account.

Highline College transitioned to a new software program called ctcLink in February 2021.

Current Students – Activate your ctcLink by using your previous student ID number to retrieve your new ctcLink ID number.

  • First Time Users Information
  • If you have already activated your ctcLink account, but do not remember your ctcLink ID number, email admissions@highline.edu with your information (current name, previous name(s), birthdate, last 4 digits of SSN, and address) for assistance. The Admissions Department will provide your ctcLink ID number after verifying your information.

New Students – Apply for Admission. Once the Admissions Department has processed your application, you will receive an admissions letter via email with your ctcLink ID number.

  • If you have already applied for admission, email admissions@highline.edu with your information (current name, previous name(s), birthdate, last 4 digits of SSN, and address) for assistance. Please do not resubmit an application.

Former Students – If you have not attended Highline College in the last year, you must submit a new admission application to return and update your records before registering for classes.

  • If you need your ID number to order official transcripts, outgoingtranscripts@highline.edu with your information (current name, previous name(s), birthdate, last 4 digits of SSN, and address) for assistance. Students may request official transcripts with either the new ctcLink ID number (starts with 1 or 2) or the previous student ID number (starts with 8 or 9).

To update your program of study, submit the Program of Study Update Request Form. You will need your ctcLink ID number and Highline email address to submit the form.

  • Funding from financial aid, WES, and WorkFirst and eligibility for special programs are dependent on the program of study tied to your student record.
  • We recommend connecting with an Advisor or your funding sources prior to requesting a program of study update.
  • The Admissions Department will update your program of study after reviewing your form submission and send you an email with confirmation.

If you are enrolled as an International Student, please notify the ISP Department once your program of study has been updated.
