Selective Admission Programs
In addition to applying to Highline College for general admission, some programs have a selective process for admission into their associate or applied bachelor's programs. This is known as selective admissions. Each academic program lists their selective admission requirements.
Admission to Highline College does not guarantee entrance to these programs. Students must meet the application deadlines and entrance requirements prescribed by the program.

College admission is not required for the following programs:
- English Language, Career and Academic Prep (ELCAP)
- High School Completion Programs
- Continuing Education
