Selective Admission Programs

In addition to applying to Highline College for general admission, some programs have a selective process for admission into their associate or applied bachelor's programs. This is known as selective admissions. Each academic program lists their selective admission requirements.

Admission to Highline College does not guarantee entrance to these programs. Students must meet the application deadlines and entrance requirements prescribed by the program.

   The next step is to apply to programs such as Bachelor of Applied Science and AAS Registered Nursing.

Programs With a Specific Admission Process

Some programs require a specific admission process after you are admitted to Highline College. The following programs have requirements beyond the regular application process. Be sure to connect with the programs to ensure you follow the correct admission steps.

Programs That Do Not Require College Admission

College admission is not required for the following programs:

• English Language, Career and Academic Prep (ELCAP)
• High School Completion Programs
• Continuing Education
