Scholarships Need Money? Student wearing goggles and graduate wearing commencement regalia

Need help paying for college? The Highline College Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-25 academic year.

All students are encouraged to apply, including part-time, undocumented and international students.

All students are eligible to apply, including part-time, undocumented and international students.
Whether they’re an incoming student or just about to graduate, there are different scholarships to suit different situations.

For instance, some scholarships target single parents while others are awarded to second-year students who are close to completing their degree. There are also scholarships for students pursuing a certain program or degree, such as engineering, music or nursing.

The application process is easy and a small amount of effort can potentially lead to a great payoff. Students simply need to go to the scholarship webpage and log into the application using their myHighline credentials (same as Canvas) and most of their data will be automatically imported.

Information and required qualifications for all scholarships are available on the application. Students should be prepared to write an essay, which will vary in length depending on the scholarship.

Last year, Highline students received more than $180,000 in scholarships from the Foundation. This year, the Foundation expects to award a similar amount again. Awards range from $500 to $4500 across 30 different scholarships.

Scholarship recipients will be notified this summer, either by email or by logging in to the scholarship website. The deadline is May 12, 2024.
