Tuition Refunds

The amount of the refund depends on the date you drop or withdraw. You must officially withdraw from your courses to receive a partial or full refund. Learn how to drop/withdraw from your courses.

If it is after the 40% refund deadline, no refund is issued. To request an exception, you can submit a registration petition  for an exception to the policy. Exceptions will only be approved under certain conditions.

Drop/Withdraw Deadlines

The drop/withdraw dates can be found in the Dates & Deadlines by quarter.

Payment Responsibility

If you drop/withdraw after the 100% refund period and have not paid your tuition, you are responsible for paying 60% of the class(es) dropped during the 40% refund period. After the 40% refund period, if you drop/withdraw and have not paid tuition you are responsible for paying 100% of the class(es) dropped.

Refund Policy

  • 100% refund if a student withdraws from a class through the fifth instructional day of the quarter.
  • 40% refund if a student withdraws after the fifth instructional day through the twentieth calendar day of the quarter.
