Schedule an Appointment

 

Virtual (Zoom) and In-Person Appointments

Students are encouraged to make appointments in advance. Schedule your virtual or in-person appointment using Watermark

  • Please be on time for your meeting. 
  • Advisors will wait only 5 minutes past the start of your appointment before they mark you as a no-show. Students with a high number of no-shows may be blocked from making future appointments in . 
  • If you are unable to attend an appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible so another student can meet with a Financial Aid Advisor.

Accepted Award Letter Mandatory Presentation

All students receiving financial aid funds passing through the Financial Aid Office must watch the Mandatory After Award Letter Presentation and complete the post-video form to ensure funds are disbursed on time.

How to Make an Appointment

Schedule your in-person or virtual appointment using Watermark.

  1. Step 1: Login

    Log into Watermark.

  2. Step 2: Schedule a Meeting

    Find the Upcoming Meetings module on your homepage dashboard. Click Schedule a Meeting.

  3. Step 3: Select Service Type

    Choose the type of appointment you would like to make from the Service drop-down.

  4. Step 4: Type of Meeting

    If you prefer an In-Person or Online meeting, select that under How do you want to meet?

  5. Step 5: Find a TIme

    Click the Find a Time button to view meeting times. Hover the mouse over appointments to view Ways to Meet.

  6. Step 6: Confirm the Appointment

    Review the meeting details and click Confirm to schedule the appointment. You will see a confirmation of your meeting.

  7. Step 7: View Scheduled Meetings

    Click Back to Home to return to the Watermark homepage. Your scheduled meetings will be displayed under Upcoming Meetings.

  8. Step 8: Find Location of Meeting

    In the Review Meeting, a Zoom link for an Online Meeting or Campus Location will display.

 

Virtual Meetings with the Financial Aid Office are by appointment only.  Students will receive a generic email from Watermark when they schedule their virtual appointment, later a second email will include the Zoom link needed to get into the virtual appointment.  Students who cannot find the email with the link can log into their Watermark Home screen, click on the appointment and find the link inside.

Please be on time for your meeting.  

Be ready with your ctcLink ID number and a picture ID: driver’s license, government ID, HC ID, etc.

  1. We will ask you for ctcLink ID number first.
  2. Followed by you showing me your picture ID using your device’s camera.

(This is the only time that you have to use your camera. Afterward, you may keep it turned off.)

  1. Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

    • Schedule your in-person or virtual appointment using Watermark. Students may attend a virtual appointment using the Zoom.

  2. Step 2: Things to do Before One-on-One

    • Application for your FSA ID or WASFA Account login if you are not using your personal information to log into your FAFSA or WASFA
    • Additional paperwork is necessary to complete your application for financial aid at Highline. Please refer to the Financial Aid Guide and Checklist for more information

  3. Step 3: Please bring the following documents

    • Your FSA ID or WASFA Account login information (Please set up your FSA ID or WASFA Account before your One-On-One; see below for an information video on setting up the FSA ID)
    • Social Security Number
    • Driver’s License or ID Card
    • Student Income and Tax-Related Documents (if you filed a tax return)
      • 2025-2026 FAFSA/WASFA
        • 2023 Tax Return Transcript
        • 2023 W-2(s)
      • 2026-2027 FAFSA/WASFA
        • 2024 Tax Return Transcript
        • 2024 W-2(s)
    • Parent Income and Tax Related Documents (if the student is under 24 years of age)
      • 2025-2026 FAFSA/WASFA
        • 2023 Tax Return Transcript
        • 2023 W-2(s)
      • 2026-2027 FAFSA/WASFA
        • 2024 Tax Return Transcript
        • 2024 W-2(s)
    • Alien Registration number or Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
    • Any 2023 and 2024 untaxed income information, such as child support
    • Current balance of cash, savings, and checking account (amount only)
    • Current net worth of your (and your spouse’s) business and investments
